Ravel's opera is about a naughty boy who gets his comeuppance from chairs, a teacup, clocks, and more. Part "Sorcerer's Apprentice" and wholly original, it ends well when at the end the boy returns to mother's embrace. Imaginative costumes & sets, daring dancing, and Ravel's transcendent score. You may not know this music, but if you know the "Mother Goose Suite" you will enjoy this score. A movie for everyone.
