This anime feature blends digital computer animation with the more traditional drawn animation cells. The moody artwork complements the story of Saya, the last true vampire, who must find and destroy an evil group of blood-sucking creatures that are hiding, and killing, within a U.S. compound in Japan during the Vietnam War. This DVD presentation also includes a "making of" featurette and a trailer for the film. The voice of Saya is provided by Youki Kodoh, who starred in 1999's Snow Falling on Cedars. ~ Jessica Frost, Rovi

Well like may of you I thought it was to short and felt like a tv show, but it is. Some how those Jappanese like to make the first 3 or so episodes into a movie then the tv show starts. So the the tv show is called Blood+ and thats all I know of it and yes I have seen the shows and it is better but no cgi effects like this movie.

I was really enjoying this movie; and then it was over, too soon. 8? chapters, with intro, credits, everything. It felt like a single RPG session, instead of a story arc, or campaign. I just wanted more ... or it may have gotten 4 of 4.5 stars.
