Short runtime as this was a one hour show so real runtime was about 43 minutes or so. Although decent and entertaining, this does contain numerous historical errors that cannot be blamed on the time constraints. One example is the standard claim that it was Nimitz’s idea to invade Guadalcanal - King was the one to recognize the need and had to prod Nimitz to schedule this for July (but delayed by a week until August 7) instead of six months later as Nimitz requested. Some of the Halsey errors in October 1944 were incorrectly attributed to Nimitz. These are mentioned solely as examples are to demonstrate the script errors, not to be a history lesson.
