Like Horatio Hornblower, Sharpe is faced with the French enemy army and troublesome fellow English officers. Our hero solves his complex problems with creativity. You can count on action and explosions in all Sharpe episodes. I give 5 stars meaning that it can be enjoyed even in a second viewing. You might even feel motivated to read up on 19th century history. If not you can always order another episode of Sharpe.
