Hoping to help Samantha in the kitchen, witch/maid Esmerelda tries to whip up a caesar salad. Instead, she produces Roman Emperor Julius Caesar (Jay Robinson), who is incensed that history has branded him a dictator. Unable to rid herself of the volatile house guest, Samantha decides to lure Caesar back to his own time by conjuring up Cleopatra (Elizabeth Thompson).
