Excellent movie about MLK's rise to leadership beginning with Montgomery, AL. Suitable for secondary students during Black History month. Shows how Rosa Parks and MLK first matched up in 1955.

My 8th grade students were learning about Rosa Parks, MLK, and the civil rights movement. I was looking for something to make it come alive for them. This movie did the trick! It has many historical accuracies, and my students' attention was riveted to the screen throughout the entire movie.
