My spouse recently saw the recent 2005 "Asylum" release by director McKenzie. She decided to watch some of the other namesakes. This circa 2000 title by Stewart did not do well in the box office and I understand why. It's dark and muddy, the plot is weak, much of the acting is over-the-top. There is a nice plot idea buried in this movie, but keeping it hidden until the end for climactic reveal prevented everyone who left after the first horrible 30 minutes from seeing it. I can't recommend this film unless you need a sleep aid.

This movie leaves a lot to be desired. But then I ordered it; I drink very little so I think I need to see my doctor. Believe this was an acting class that got out of control.
