Synopsis of Fei Hu: The Story of The Flying Tigers
The Flying Tigers were a small group of 300 men and women recruited from the U.S. military forces to help defend China from Japanese bombers. Known officially as "volunteers," they were actually carrying out orders from FDR, and were called "Fei Hu" by the Chinese for the shark's teeth painted on their planes. Fei Hu: The Story of the Flying Tigers tells their story, supported with home movies, footage from war archives, and interviews with members of the elite group. The Flying Tigers were only in operation for one year, but their heroic mission affected the goodwill between the U.S. and China long after the war. ~ Alice Day, All Movie Guide
