Renegade (1987)
Member Rating:
Terence Hill, who first connected with American audiences in the Italian Western comedy My Name Is Trinity, returns to familiar territory in this picture. Luke (Hill) is a drifting con artist wandering the Old West when he gets word that his buddy Moose (Norman Bowler) has been thrown in jail. Moose needs someone to look after his son Matt (Ross Hill), and he offers to let Luke stay on his ranch (and lay low from some bad guys who have been looking for him) in exchange for serving as Matt's guardian. Luke agrees to the deal, but he and Ross don't get on especially well at first, and things become more complicated when a team of unscrupulous businessmen try to take over Moose's ranch. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

This has the honor of being one of only three movies that ive ever actually stopped watching in the middle of in my life. I then went online, and the general consensus was that the second half was even worse!! Horrible acting on all fronts, especially the lead actor, who was incredibly unconvincing as a clint eastwood wannabe. Terrible directing, that uses the super-quick-cut method that allows you to see nothing going on in fights. The story jumped all over the place and seemed to be many seperate events in no particular order. Truly one of the worst movies that i have ever seen, or will see, in my entire life.

French western. Well, the cinemaphotagraphy is fantastic as well as 'special effects'. It takes another country to portray the religous practices of the Native Americans. Great film.

This movie is about peyote, I think. If you're looking for a movie about peyote, you might like this one. If you're looking for a western, you'll probably hate it.
