My kids got restless when they watched this (aged 6 and 8). I didn't care for it either because it took some time to get into. It reminded me of a cheesy "old time" after-school specials. I suppose if your child has a disability, or your kid is really into soapbox racing, they could identify with this movie and give them motivation "to make dreams come true." Even though...The best thing this movie has going for it, is that it's a true story.
