This was such an interesting video of the work and life of Gordon Parks that I watched it twice. One of the reasons I enjoyed it so much is that I have been interested in his photography for many years; his subjects are so alive and real to me. I was fascinated by his multitalents, his exciting life and how he tried to have a sucessful marriage three times. He loved his children and tried to give them all the things he missed. If you like biographies, you will certainly enjoy this one. Joella W.

Gordon Parks is an amazing man who recognized that having belief in one's self, taking chances and embracing opportunity can lead to living out dreams and fulfilling aspirations. His personal story is an inspiration to all. He's definitely a hero of mine!

This is an absolutely fascinating presentation of a brilliant person whose accomplishments are awesome. I had known about only bits and pieces of Parks' career(s) -- it must have been a privilege to have known him personally.
