This is a great film noire about a mysterious man who lures a young, fairly naive, man into his perverse world in the dark of L.A. nights. Peter Weller is deliciously sinister as the immoral Stuart Chappel, and Balthazar Getty is equally good as the unwitting Michael Holloway, who becomes so involved with Chappel and his perversions that he risks sacrificing all that he holds dear, including his family. It's quite gripping and well worth watching.
