I was a witness to this tragedy as it unfolded, but the details of what happened had been forgotten. To see it all again brought back the sorrow and outrage I felt at the time. This is an excellent preview for those who plan to watch "Munich". Knowing what happened at the '72 Olympics provides the background which makes "Munich" really come alive.

Profound, moving and emotionally devastating. The best documentary I've ever seen.

Being an ex-Olympic athlete, I can't imagine training so hard day in and day out and then having some jerks (kind word, not the one I want to use) selfishly interrupt so many people's plans and efforts. Even more important than athletics is the fact that they did the total opposite of what the Olympics are supposed to be about...peace and harmony between other people's, country's, races...etc. In the end, they got what they deserved although the ultimate eternal pain awaits them beyond their graves.
