In this fantasy-adventure story, five kids win a contest sponsored by a soft drink company that earns them a night at a new theme park, where high-tech gadgetry is used to simulate life in Medieval times. A bolt of lightning sends them back in time, thanks to a spell cast centuries ago by the wicked Lord Drakin, and before long, the kids (as well as the camera crew sent along by the pop bottlers) discover that the wizards, dragons, and knights in shining armor all around them are real. The kids encounter Perceval, a one-time magician of the court, who tries to help them vanquish their foes and return to the 20th century.
