Synopsis of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Meridian

Brett Cullen guest stars as Deral, a resident of the newly discovered dimension-shifting planet Meridian. While trying to stabilize Meridian's path through space -- and, hopefully to save it from ultimately "shifting" out of existence -- Dax falls in love with Deral. Alas, he is predestined to return to his planet, whereupon he will vanish into another dimension for 60 years.
