Hey - - it is what it is...and it's a nice tribute to a lot of people who made SNL great over the years. It was enjoyable and had some parts that were entertaining.

Like Paul R. said, it's a DVD of the broadcast. Just OK. Billy Crystal was very good as Fernando Lamas (cHoo Loook Mavaleous) working the crowd of celebrities on hand for the show. Billy's pretty quick off the top of his head. Bill Murray did the same to open. Bad choice for the Adam Sandler/Chris Farley selection. I wanted to see more complete clips but there is just too much ground to cover in that amount of time.

This is the NBC special that was aired back in 1999. It is merely a collection of some of the individual "Best Of" clips from each of the most popular cast members DVD's. There are a few live performances like Al Green and Elvis Costello to add some variety to the live show that night.
