This is one of the better Pierce Brosnan Bond flicks. There's an interesting villian, Sophie Marceau is a great Bond girl, there are some interesting action sequences, cool locations and a few fun gadgets. It's sadly ironic that this was Desmond Llewelyn's final appearance, especially with the things he says in this film and the introduction of John Cleese--though I think John Cleese will be great. The only thing that was wrong with this movie was Denise Richards. She's very attractive, but my mind simply could not accept her as a PhD working with nuclear weapons. She looked way too young for that...not to mention when she and Bond hit it off, it felt like Bond was hanging out at the college dorm scoping for freshman girls. Even for a Bond film--I couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy her in this role. But other than that, I thought it was a really well done Bond story with all the standard parts. Worth the rental, for sure.

This was somewhat a Jame Bond entertaining. So the expectation of action packed, entertaining, romance, delusional stunts, were all there. I especially enjoyed the scenic settings especially the ski scene, as well as, the furnishings and architectual structure of the exterior and interior of the buildings. I enjoyed the entertainment and would recommend it to a friend
