This should not be considered a horror movie. It was trying to be a Friday the 13th knock-off, complete with Betsy Palmer in the cast. But the wooden monster was a joke and was not, I repeat, not scary. I love a good "B" teen horror movie, and like most of them, but this movie was just too lame.

This is not scary, this is boring!!! The first hour, all you do is deal with the main character's childhood pain with his understanding girlfriend. After about two minutes, it turns into a snoozefest. Full 7 on the suck-o-meter. Take a pass on this trash.

This movie kept you guessing but was not the least bit scarey. Some of it we actually laughed at. I gave it a 1 star just for keeping us guessing who the killer was.
