This movie has a great story line, great acting and evolves as it goes on. I have watched it 10 times because there are so many lessons being taught in this movie. The teacher who is teaching the lesson, is really the biggest student of all. It speaks very well to the challenges of black folks in the time that it is written. A must see.

Too slow- never gets beyond sad & dragged-out story.
