This was a very good spin on an old DC Comics Hero. I thought it was very well done and went into what happens when Bruce Wayne/Batman gets old. The origin of the new Batman had a decent story and kept up with the tradition of a cranky Bruce Wayne that is sometimes missed in other adaptions. The additional episodes are an acceptable bonus to the movie to show the furtherance of the character. And of note, they do a good job, with Terry's unwillingness to give his whole life to this job without having his own. And to continue that thought, they do a good job with Bruce telling him what Batman would and would not do.

This gave my son about 5 episodes and showed him the origin of the futuristic Batman Beyond. He very much enjoyed it...and you did get about 5 episodes, so it was well worth the money.
