This story is as classic as Star Trek or Star Wars or Lord of the Flies or 1984. Sure the special effects are lousy but you're supposed to be using your imagination. This is one of those movies that should really be remade with superior effects but I do think the casting of all these characters was just flawless. The story is full of compelling moral questions, messages about loyalty and unity and doing what's right and it does a good job at conveying the vulnerability of human beings. V has a lot more to offer than the average tv flick.

Cool movie, the effects are poor and the acting kinda bad but the story is great. I wish they would remake this one.

Old School 80's sci-fi, i remember it as a kid, not a bad flick.
