Not much magic but don't expect the birthday party variety of magic tricks. This guy is a magus, a master of powers we mere mortals call magic because we don't know how its done. Science won't tell us and the guy in the movie won't tell us either. The story is OK, but his love interest is amusing. For awhile you wonder if it's gonna take off or die stillborn. It's worth the time. Paris is always interesting from the less-glamorous aspect.
