I enjoyed this one so much more than the one of the same name from 1962! As I rented it, I did not know that Wes Craven was one of the producers. Very creepy little movie. Atmosphere was WONDERFUL. Honestly, I will now and forever be scared of carwashes!!:) I would recommend to lovers of this era. Rather strange, but definitely worth the rent.

This is a very disturbing movie and I wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart, or before you go to sleep. It is a psychological thriller that is very dark and it never lightens up. Not for everyone but if you like this genre, you'll like this one. Warning to those who were molested: don't watch this one.

This is a loosely remade movie of the original and brilliant Carnival of Souls. I did not expect in any way to match or expect it to be near the original but I was still disappointed in the film. The images that try to scare the audience are over used and there was little tension in the movie. There writing, acting and directing were all below par and the chronological flow of the movie is questionable. The movie never did bore me but it is not worth a watch.
