A movie made out of one of Rohington Mistry's award winning books. This movie has a good performance by Roshan Seth and is well directed. It does not stray from the original storyline and is a must watch if you like serious movies about India (not the typical bollywood musicals). This movie targets complex issues about relationships, morals, parenting and friendship and how they affect a person. Recommended.

I know that family and friends can get you into trouble, we want to be loyal to the end, to be there for them no matter what, what do you do when one goes bad? When a friend who is closer than a brother steals, when a son goes his own way. What is a good man to do. These questions stem from our own wants, one must look deeper into what is important, when your friends die who is left? Friends and family and showing we care no matter what they have done to us, is what I felt was important in this movie. Watch it and see what is important to you.
