It was a cute movie, light-hearted and funny. The play between Segal and Fonda was excellent, although if you really think about it, sometimes the way they talk to each other really shouldn't be funny. The character Dick is a pompous egomaniac, and Jane is a spoiled brat, and yet you end up rooting for them and laughing along. Some of the dialogue would make me blush in a modern movie, so it's funny to see it in a '77 production. There is a remake out which I haven't seen yet, so I'll update my review to compare after I see it.

I'd have to say that the Jim Carrey version is better though. This movie is funny in parts and worth a watch.
