Very disappointing. We rent many French films every year. Kept waiting for character development or action and neither happened.

Carol C. Typically French and very of that era. Seemed so pointless and dated I couldn't finish it. Eric Rohmer is so talky and I never seem to care for the characters. Can't stand any of them. Shallow and pleasure driven with little self knowledge. Sort of in an arrested adolescence.
