This movie is a loose adaptaion of the story told in movies like Yojimbo and Fist Full of Dollars and Last Man Standing. It's low budget all the way, but it is not a bad watch. You have to like low budget Sci-Fi to enjoy this, but It is better than most.

I like Albert Pyun and his visual style but Omega Doom is just plain boring. It's a low budget film, which is to be expected from a Pyun film and he certainly does his best to add his own artistic flare to it, but even his charming visual style can not make this bland story any more compelling. I just didn't care for any of the characters, what little action there was lame and what attempts there were at drama fell flat.

Hybrid 5.5 is caught by 6 o'clock shot to its control center. Humanoids re-program it to help people. Hybrid 5.5 encounters city occupied by later-date hybrids and earlier more machine-like androids. Hybrid 5.5 destroys machines on both sides; it prevents those machines from finding the guns and thus it prevented machines from getting the ammunition.
