It's one of more creative storyline from hk movies. I'd bet you can't figure it out until you watch it. It's basically 007 (i.e. James Bond) in ancient china, however chow's character is not flashy but is intelligent and a great inventor for spy tools. Plus, there is kinda of a love-triangle romantic story between Chow, Carina Lau and Carmen Lee, but it's not really --- very funny and slightly surprising ending.
