On Christmas Eve, screenwriter Tiger (Tom Wood) is on the brink of waving goodbye to Hollywood and heading home, but his scripting partner Max (Arye Gross) convinces him to stay a bit longer. They score an inside track, arranging a meeting with Arnie (Joe Pantoliano), but they have no place to stay. They break into the building Tiger has used for storage, creating confusion and anger among residents, but building manager Cliff (Ron Perlman) lets them stay.
