I am ashamed of myself for having rented this HORRIBLE, inaccurate movie "based " on the life and times of James Dean through Pier Angeli's eyes. I have absolutely NOTHING good to say about this film.

I forgot how bad this movie was when I rented it again. The acting is more like Ricky Nelson playing Dean with a big toothy smile that the real JD never showed. The director made no attempt at historical accuracy because he had JD often wearing his red Rebel Jacket like it was the favorite item in his ward robe. The real JD never wore it off the movie set, preferred a black leather jacket was 24 years old, not a high school kid. The TV interview with Gig Young looked nothing like the original although it was hard to get that scene since the original is readily available. I believe that it is the worst movie ever made about James Dean. JLJac

I should have read the reviews before renting this horrendous movie. Terrible acting. Terrible script. Doesn't even look like James Dean. I think James himself would be upset by this film. Completely horrid.
