Synopsis of Encontros Imperfeitos
Mario (Diogo Infante) is on the run from the authorities of several countries, as well as any number of covert organizations, as a result of a terrorist act he committed somewhere in Africa. He has returned to his native Portugal to hide out and try to discover whatever happened to his girlfriend, who was supposed to meet him after he did his nefarious deed and never showed up. While he is dwelling in the rural countryside, he meets up with a woman (Paula Guedes) whose car breaks down just outside the place he is hiding. She becomes his new girlfriend, and he tries to enlist her to help him find his old girlfriend. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide
