While the special effects for the time period were impressive, the overall movie was disappointing. The ending stunk, particularly when there really wasn't a definitive ending. Action movies aren't always known for their acting, but the performances here by the main characters were particularly disappointing. Not worth watching

Pretty cheezey movie. Special effects were not so special; looked like the 50s. The quake was in the middle of the movie and the second half was about who/how the characters were rescuing or getting rescued (or getting dead). Problem is, the movie did nothing to make us care what the outcome for any of them might be, except the kid, and you knew he wasn't getting snuffed. I'm doing disaster movies right now, and this is among the lamest.

I like this movie... it was kinda cheesy and funny but it was good.
