This horror thriller is based upon the final chapter of the Bible and centers upon Abby Quinn, a pregnant woman living in Venice, California who leases her garage apartment to mysterious David, who seems to be trying to claim the soul and the life of her unborn child. Little does she knows that he is Christ incarnate and has come to open each of the seven seals and release upon the wicked world the prophesied disasters. He has already broken six seals and now with Abby's baby prepares to break the seventh. Meanwhile, David is stalked by the mysterious Father Lucci who has more than a passing interest in Apocalyptic prophesies. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
A supernatural classic! Biblical calamaties unfold as it becomes more apparent that Demi Moor's expectant child is pivotal in the eternal struggle between good and evil. Original ploit. Lots of action. Great characters. A grabber.
Boring film with a very slow pace throughout the entire movie. It never really had an intense climax which a lot of slow pace movies develop at the end. I did think the casting was really good by the four leads and their acting was acceptable. Story although slow, it had a good plot with an interesting concept. Dialogue which in my mind is an important part of the movie was bland too. I would not recommend the movie but it is not a bad watch.
