A first-year medical student discovers that death may not be as final as she once believed when the spirit of the cadaver assigned to her in Gross Anatomy class attempts to resolve some unfinished business in the mortal realm. When the sheet is drawn back and Alison's (Corri English) cadaver is revealed, the nervous student suddenly senses a powerful energy and collapses to the floor, unconscious. Upon relaying her strange experience to her skeptical instructor, Dr. Blackwell (Derrick O'Connor), Alison finds her strange malaise immediately written off as the "first year jitters." When Alison's friend is discovered dead in a basement corridor and the rising body count begins to appear strangely connected with her investigation into the cadaver's fate, the frightened medical student does her best to put the mystery, and the murderous spirit, to rest. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I saw the review for this movie and i was like oh great this is going to suck! But it didnt it kept my attention the whole time. it was a pretty good movie.. i really enjoyed it. It was differnt and i think the other 7 flims in this series are going to be good. i would def. rent it if you like horror movies. its not scary but its non stop action. the acting was supprising good. i think its worth the rent!
I saw this movie at the After Dark horror film festival and, like just about everything that played, it was very average. It has a good set-up, and a couple of creepy parts (did that cadaver just move?) but over-all, it really wasn't a horror movie in any way. It is hyped as the first film to use real cadavers. who cares when the entire thing is so mediocre and lame? give me a fake dead body and something interesting or scary happening on the screen any day over this.
