In this fantasy adventure tale, Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) and his kinsman Duncan (Adrian Paul) are "Immortals," members of a secret clan who can be killed only through decapitation. Connor and Duncan find themselves thrown into a tournament where Immortals both good and evil battle one another in a bid to become the last of their kind. Highlander: Endgame was the fourth feature film in the Highlander franchise, but its narrative draws from the storyline of the Highlander television series and ignores the events of the second and third films. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
The only reason I gave this one and a half stars is because anything with this much eye candy is worth seeing at least once. If you are a die-hard Highlander fan DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE! ****Spoiler ahead!****Anyone who has seen the prior movies knows that the wrong McCleod is the victor here. I don't know anyone who has seen this movie that liked it, because they changed the entire outcome. In fact, when we went to see it in the theatre - half the place WALKED OUT twenty minuted before it was over - it was THAT BAD!
I am a big HIGHLANDER fan( Movies and TV series) and can appreciate directors special visions and twists on earlier movies. I had seen this movie years ago and thouht it was decent. What I did not like was that this was a EARLIER CUT, which as not included in the description when I added it. It jumped from scene to scene, sound and special effects were not there or very poor. I suggest that you make sure you get the final cut not this EARLIER one,THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE
