Hollow Point is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. This is one of those movies where the director couldn't decide what he wanted; a gritty cop movie or a comedic buddy cop movie. And when that happens, you get a mess like this. The acting is over the top. The action is cartoonishly awful. The dialogue is laughable. The cheese factor is turned up to 10. The film has established actors like John Lithgow and Donald Sutherland, but they are just collecting a paycheck in a clear money grab. They pretty much mail in their performances. Skip this movie, it is a waste of time.
