In a word, disappointing. Plot is very thin and story line was disjointed and went on too long. Use of flashbacks disturbed the linear progression of the film requiring a fair amount of concentration to pick up the main story again. Reliance on cinematography and story line just didn't work with the use of minimalist dialog style. From the description I expected a post apocalyptic science fiction experience similar to "A Boy and his Dog" or "Mad Max". This film fell way short of these cult classics.

There must have been the second Zone 39 because this one did not make any sense...bad bad bad.
