A brilliant film, a bit gruesome but in keeping with the theme. It is presented so well it almost seems like a true story. Wait until you see the ending....wow! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

All of ... Read MoreI loved this film. It was realisitc in pace and tone, at times dark and brooding, which matches the topic perfectly. You can't exactly have homicide investigators being all happy and joyful. All of the characters were good, and were well played by excellent actors. The plot was well done and so was the direction. Great movie and educational. It was dark; however, not nearly as gorey as anticipated. My husband wasn't interested in even watching it, but ended up really loving it too. One of the best. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Its about a freak killer using the Seven original sins to create his masterpiece as he calls it. Also the ending is not what I expected and hits the audience right in the face. Movie details said dark, thriller - it was dark, we prefer less dark and more action - this one was a little slow in areas. And we prefer a more fun action, so wasn't our favorite movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Pitt, Freeman, Paltrow, and Spacey stumble around trying to make sense of this lurid, improbable story, but they don't succeed. Repulsive imagery, stagey dialogue, no redeeming purpose. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
