Really thought we would enjoy this, but having lived thru the Watergate affair, we both felt this movie was a bit stale and slow.

So, being born in 1977, I realized I didn't know much about Watergate... other than there was a break in at a hotel and Nixon resigned. I thought Frost/Nixon looked intriguing, but figured I needed some pre-requisite researching before seeing it. After reading "All the President's Men", I figured I had to see the Oscar winning adapted movie of course. The film has some great character acting, but IS a tad slow. For those that hadn't read the book (or don't know a great deal about Watergate), I think the movie would be a bit confusing with a lot of consipirators' names involved. Although worth seeing... as always (sorry movie buffs)... "the book was better."
