The producers are to be commended for a cool idea, but for the most part the contributions from the renowned directors are remarkably banal. Apparently all modern creativity resides in the use of tracking shots. The demonstration of the Lumiere camera itself is fascinating, but you can find many more compelling shorts posted by amateurs on YouTube, though David Lynch's was intriguing. In fact, I'd love to see him him flesh it out into a full length silent movie.
