An investigator seeking the truth behind the death of a noted art dealer uncovers a web of sexual deception in this erotic thriller. David Caruso plays David Corelli, a San Francisco District Attorney who faces a potential conflict of interest when he learns that the prime suspect in the murder is psychologist Katrina Gavin (Linda Fiorentino), an old flame who eventually married Corelli's close friend (Chazz Palminteri). Despite this, he continues on the case and discovers that the dealer owned a series of photographs showing prominent public figures in compromising positions with an enigmatic prostitute known only as Jade. The movie Jade was well written from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed the mystery, suspense, and the twist of the story. I found the movie to be full of suspense and an emotional thriller. This movie will take you on an pyschological ride.

Well acted , but focused on supposed "Taboo Practices" . Apparently the female lead (Jade) can't get enough any way she can get it....mostly the taboo sort. It borders on mental pornography. If that's your thing, you might like this movie.

This was a great movie! I like David Caruso a lot and got the movie because he was in it. It is a good suspense thriller and will keep your attention up to the very end. I would definitely recommend this movie and was glad I watched it.

Good Drama, Lots of Action, Good Who Done it, but I find myself asking a lot of questions about it. Such as why have the entire theme of the Movie outlined with Asian Culture, then NOT cast the Main Character with an Asian Girl? I think it would have been better if the main character was an Asian Girl. It would have made more sense in my mind anyway. Also was the chase scene running through the Chinese New Year Parade a blatant form of Disrespect of Asian Culture, running over a Statue of Buddha for example? Or was it just drama? An Asian didn't get the Starring Role, so it leaves one to think, is the entire movie a slam against Asian Culture? A Mockery? I'm not sure. The Acting was great, the camera work and directing was Great, but the overall story left me with a lot of questions.

This movie is a"BASIC INSTINCT" want a be, And its far from it. What a bad rip off.The writer actuly had the guts to use the same last name of one of the main from "Instinct", come on Holloywood, did you really run out of names between movies, not bad enough to steal the script, but at least you could have come up with differant names for the main actors.Watch "BASIC INST" instead of this junk, you'll be a better person if ya do.Just my opinion.Have a nice Thanksgiving.
