Well, it was filmed in Miami and that was the best thing about it. Stone was shallow and Stallone looked ridiculous doing martial arts in a Ki, but the bomb scenes were explosive and it was ok....

I was surprised that 2 such fine actors couldn't hold the story together. To me the movie did NOT gel. I gave up a few times, then was curious to continue watching it.

I loved the story line but why does every good story line have to be accompanied by massive nudity? The characters were very real - from the mob bosses, to the woman wanting revenge, even the dark hurt in the soul of a man who helped kill a child....It would have been better to end on a different note - something like revenge isn't so sweet or doesn't make things better.

John Barry's music adds a James Bond touch (he did a lot of the music for the 007 films) in this fun fling in sexy action adventure. The story: Miami crime family knocked off little May's parents in front of her eyes and now she's out for revenge. Only, she's really out to expose an explosives expert for his former partner played by James Woods. Only, she really wants the bad guys dead. Only she's still got a hot body and phew, there are some very steamy scenes with both Stone and Stallone in the buff. But the story is still a mix of Miami Vice and Crime Story with some wicked explosions and FX. R for the sex/nudity and blowing up some innocent bystanders, still three stars or 6/10 - slightly above average. Unless you've overdosed on these things, it is a decent show with a decent storyline.
