Occult and lovers of the undead this is a great twist on how it all begins. Seeing a different culture function often is hard to relate to and this is no exception. However, with love you can make something out of it. Only a fool would want to live forever. almost all of us are fools. Yet the things that really matter: love for a grandfather no matter what he does of becomes; love for a wife or husband; These things exist both in time and eternity. I loved the scenery, the legend overall and the fine acting! The plot did move slow, and it left me wanting more at the end. I still recommend it for fantasy lovers, and fans of Pan's Labyrinth, but I hope del Toro visits this story again. If it had an extra hour or so, it could've been epic.
