Read More I am a really big fan of leo dicaprio but for some reason when i saw this movie on the shelf in blockbuster I didn't think it would deliver.I couldn't see the big Titanic superstar playing the sloppy, hyperactive ,water tower climbing,mentally retarded Arnie Grape.But I was wrong because the moment the movie started it pulled me in and convinced me that Leonardo Dicaprio was really mentally ill. His best movie by far. Johnny Depp was engaging as Gilbert Grape. Longsuffering and also totally genuine. Juliette Lewis was charming. Thoroughly enjoyable story. Lovingly acted. Highly recommend it. Read More At first I thought this movie was a little slow, but by the end I was amazed by the terrific acting and how much I could relate to the story. Johnny Depp was great as usual and Leonardo Dicaprio did a wonderful job as the mentally disabled brother (which I am usually picky about because my sister is autistic and I have known many disabled people).
