Ok, by the picture and the fact that Hugh Grant was in it, I thought this looked good. The cinematgraphy (SP?) Was really, really bad. And Hugh Grant was pretty funny in it, and he wasn't meant to be funny. Definitely pass on this-I would like to see this remade, because the story line was good, but you can't get past the grainy picture, over-acting, and scary Hugh Grant performance

Yes, the cinematography was foggy looking, and it was a bit cheesy, but I liked it anyway. It wasn't as sexually graphic as so many movies of that era are, now days. Just a romantic you might say!
