Read MoreMeryl Streep's character "Madeline", has always stolen Goldie Hawn's ("Helen") men before she had a chance to marry them. It happens one final time which sends Helen into an asylum, where she comes to terms with her problem and decides to exact her revenge and eliminate it from her life in whatever way she can.
Some amazing special effects trickery pleases the eyes, as these women become involved in using a youth potion that comes at a cost, which shows itself well enough in the movie for me to leave the details out here.
The black comedy plays out very melodramatically, every exchange between characters is something you probably would never hear in real life, but damned if it doesn't work perfectly in this movie, shocking you and making you laugh at the same time.
I've loved this movie since its 1992 release and still watch it regularly enough to know the whole thing by heart. It's just great film. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
