This movie shows the dads perspective which is different. It shows that its not all sunshine, you don't always get help you can be on your own. I thought the ending was sad (trying not to give it all away) when he looked really depressed because they made it seem like his life was over and he could never go to college. Although college would not have been impossible it would not have been easy since they lived on thier own. I think its a great movie with no "sugarcoating" and should definately be shown in 8-10th grade. Since some HS teens are already parents. It captures the guys emotions and would give the HS guys an idea because it goes through thier emotions on a very relateable level. It would also show the teen girls that although they can handle it that most teenage boys are not maternal and will not necessarily respond to the situation the way they hope. Good move definately a must see for the teen crowd.
