This was one of my favorite movies when I was little. I remember being scared of the Jabberwocky and fast forwarding through it so if you have small children who are watching it be aware of that. Otherwise it is a wonderful movie version of a classic story. Worth your time to rent. Close this Review
Is it great? No. Today's children may find it boring, adults may find it kinda creepy (one little girl among costumed, dancing old men?), and the music is lackluster at best. But this is the Alice I remember from my childhood, not the Disney one. The Jabberwocky and Carol Channing both used to terrify me. This little Alice is one of the best, though, a talented little actress. And seeing famous people in costume is always amusing.
