Read More The ONLY Christmas movie I can watch anytime of the year and still enjoy. Christmas Vacation is easily equal to, if not slightly better than the original Vacation. This movie gets you laughing early and keeps you there through the entire film. And where else can you see Randy Quaid in a woman's bath robe, emptying an RV chemical toilet into the sewer, all the while wishing the neighbors a Merry Christmas? One of the funniest movies out there. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I've heard Blockbuster edits their movies and Christmas Vacation was the FIRST time I've experienced this. I picked up the movie from the actual store yesterday. THE ENTIRE ENDING SCENE WAS EDITED OUT!!! The best part of the movie! Where Griswold gets mad over his "fruit of the month" gift and Eddie goes and kidnaps his boss. That part was in the movie, but the hysterical 10 minute rant where Clark goes off on his boss was cut out! It was just the boss shows up and every thing's all happy Christmas. What a load of dog squeeze... Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This special edition included scenes and language that were distasteful and made it not longer family friendly. I would not recommend it for wholesome entertainment. Those scenes (Language and Sexual inuendos) made an otherwise funny movie into more of an R rather than PG-13. Not recommended for reason. EM Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Mixed feelings - - on one hand, a WONDERFULLY funny spoof on Christmas with relatives - and how neurotic THAT can be ! Some of the funniest comedy moments I have ever seen in a film - including when the cat gets fried - and when Clark Griswald FINALLY gets his Christmas lights to turn on - - and the song "Halleluya" starts - - hysterical ! Also, Clark's trailer trash brother and his family come to visit - and is the biggest MOOCH in the world !! Great comedy !! But on the other side, Clark Griswald cusses and uses the "F-Bomb" word - and I was SO embarrassed for all the kids watching this - - I felt HORRIBLE and felt like a bad father for not knowing this part of the movie was in the movie. So be VERY careful of any children who might want to see this movie - - bizarre, but it has parts that are NOT "kid-friendly" at all.... Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

This was mostly slap stick comedy at best. Not sure how everyone liked this movie so much. Must have been good during there time and so now is always good. I just didn't see mcuh humor in this one at all. Plus, they changed up some of the family in this one. The kids were all different. Compared to the original (Vacation) in this one (Christmas) the boy was shorter than girl and looked even younger although it is 6 years later, had brown hair instead of blonde, then girl is much older than boy with blonde hair instead of brown. And then the boss he works for supposedly for 17 years at the same company, he is the hill billy guy that they rent the tents from in Vacation, what is that? I am big on consistency. I don't really recommend this movie, but a lot of other people think it is good so maybe you might like it more. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
