Wicked plots, love and revenge. Dramatic with sharp, prickly humorous nuances. Impeccable acting, fabulous sets & costuming. Two thumbs up! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

After seeing Cruel Intentions, I did not realize that this movie was the original. Glenn Close did a fabulous job, along w/the rest of the all star cast. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

The Vicomte De Valmont (called Cho Won in the Korean version) is supposed to have a mischievous aura about him. Malkovich's character is just selfish and mean and I can't say I have much sympathy for his character's downfall.
If you want to watch a version of this story with goregeous costumes and more faithfullness to the spirit of the story (even at the expense of the literal story), check out Untold Scandal. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
